[Invite only] Travelling to the Elves

It had been a few hours since Seth, Annaia, Frey, and Mononoke had started to travel to the northern city of the elves. They weren't too fond of outsiders, but would be have no choice but to let them in due to the fact that Seth once ruled the Elves more than a thousand years ago. He was sure nothing would go wrong.

He had it in the back of his head, though, that Mononoke was from the northern city. She was elusive, and wouldn't come out with the truth, but Seth remained suspicious. Annaia sided with her, however.

mononoke didnt need them to know were she was from but the way gardes looked suspicous of her only made her nervious she made shure to trail further and further behind the three of them.
"so this is what one of hte norhteren city of elves looks like" said Frey in awaw mononoke looked at her feet and notted.

"Yes, this is-"

"Halt, travellers," someone said, riding up to them on a tall horse. "Who are you, and what business do you have here?" He asked. The gates to the city was right behind him.

"I am Seth, first king of the elves. With me are my companions Frey, human from Carmen city of desert benders, Annaia, Shi'Go princess of the northern tribe, and Mononoke, elven halfling of an unnamed town," Seth explained.

"Did you say Mononoke?" The gaurd asked.

"Yes I did. Why?" He asked, looking back at her and then back at the gaurd. Was there something he didn't know? He would soon find out.

mononke didnt speak but smiled shyly trying hard to hid her wings from the garde.
"whats wrong?" asked Frey no looking at mononke

"Hmm..." The gaurd said, going into deep thought. "Nothing. You may enter. Welcome back, king Seth," the gaurd said as the gates opened up. Seth walked in with the rest of them, marvelling at the beauty of the city.

"Isn't it wonderful?" Seth asked. Mainly to himself, but it was out loud.

"yeah shore it is" said mononke she didnt smile anymore just looked around with a sence of sadness.
"yeah it is its amazing!"shouted an excited Frey

"This place is beautiful!" Annaia said, looking around with amazement. She never figured she'd ever see a place like this in her entire life. Her heart pounded in excitement.

"We'll rest and dine in one of the finest hotels for the night. Tomorrow, we'll visit the temple of the gods," Seth said.

mononoke spoke unexspectedly "which one"the way she said it was causious and worried.

"i dont knowi never been here" said Frey

"Possibly the Javelin Inn. The ale there is nice and so is the food." Seth said.

"I wouldn't mind a good drink," Annaia said, winking at Seth.

mononoke let out a sight she didnt go to that pitutuarla place. "shure" the worry in her vioce evaporated.

"i cant wait to go thier" said Frey looked at how most of the people seemed to star at mononoke the seth.

"I know why they stare at me," Seth started, looking at Mononoke, "but I don't know why they stare at you. Is something wrong?" He asked.

mononkoe answered quikcly
"well i look wiredi mean i have wings how manny people due you know have wings" said mononoke though she said this very quickly and becan to look more at the floor.

"mononoke is somthing wrong?" asked Frey he looked at mononoke "annaia or Seth ask one of the villagers"

"They stare at you with familiarity, Mononoke," Seth pressed. He wanted to know if there was a truth she was hiding.

mononoke didnt answere she looked away she didnt want to tell them not till she was home or the temple she knew sooner or later when they endter inn they might catch on to the rumors.
Frey didnt say much but looked at the places "so thies restraunt?"

"Oh yes, this way," Seth said. He led the group to the inn and walked in. He got a table for them and sat down, ordering four drinks for them all.

mononoke sat next to annaia and wasnt talking at all but still looked around cautiously.
"thanks seth" said Frey

"No problem," he said. He began to notice how quiet Mononoke was being. It then hit him; perhaps Mononoke was from this place. "Mononoke, you can be honest. Are you from this city?" He asked.

"no not htis one we havnt found it yet " said mononoke "but i came to this plave when i escap.... ran away" she quickly corrected herself this city did not make her happy though it was one of the first places were her rumor of a monster of her home town was spread.

"oh so were are you from this unnamed town?" asked Frey mononke only looked at the table.

"There's no need for you two to attack her for that information! If she doesn't want to share it, she doesn't have to!" Annaia said in Mononoke's defense.

"thank you" said mononoke still not interally conftorable but she wouldnt be till they were gone from all the northern villages.

"so um Seth what day didyou leave home?" asked Frey in more curious now that they were so close

"Thirteenth month, fourth day, and possibly over a thousand years ago," Seth said.

mononoke looked up she was a bit shocked she knew a bit of when he left it used to be a loud party but ... "thats my birthday minus the thousand years' said mononoke she only said that.
"cool" said frey happily.

"Really? Well, it's next month, you know," Seth said with a smile. "Anything in particular you want to do?"

mononoke shook her
"no thank you my birthday was never celibrated" said mononke
"Come on mononoke you have to want somthing" said Frey in intestion for somthing.

"Even elves celebrate birthdays," Seth said reassuringly. "Even if we do live forever, it's something we like to do. Since elven blood runs through your veins, We'd like to celebrate it with you." Seth smiled comfortingly at her.

"At least for me," Annaia said, grabbing her in a hug.
