In an age before modern times, before the goddess Mononoke, there were Dragons that roamed the land. These dragons were peaceful creatures that reigned with wisdom and power. One day, a dragon decided to go against what the rest of his kin believed and begin a tyrannical dictatorship over all the races of Dragonatia. He was stronger than all the other dragons, and he used that to his advantage. The world was thrown into the dark ages.

In response, the dragons began to teach mortals and immortals alike how to slay a dragon permenatly; by devouring their soul. A new guild of dragon slayers rose, calling themselves the "Dragoons." The dragoons were a mixture of humans, elves, and vampires who fought the tyrant and defeated him. Unfortunately, his soul was too powerful to consume. 

The Dragoons did the only thing they knew they could do; they cursed him using a powerful spell of blood magic, turning the tyrant into the first and only Black dragon. He was banished to the realm of Sheol, becoming its only inhabitant, doomed to reside there for eighty thousand years. Peace returned.

Thousands of years later, the dragons started disappearing and never showing up again. Many blamed the dragoons. When the empire first rose after the last dragon vanished, an assault was launched on their castle. All but one dragoon was killed. No one remembered his name, but knew the story; he was exiled to Phanara for ten thousand years. From that day on, his name became Exile, and he was an urban legend that everyone had come to fear.

Lilith, while growing up, hear about Exile. It pushed her to want to become a Dragoon so that she could help him on his journey and find out what happened to the dragons, so she trained. She was a blood elf, so she knew blood magic and black magic through her bloodline. She studied Ice magic, and learned to effectively use the Shuriken and the Chakram. She knew she needed more training, though, so she set out from her village, determined to find the last of the Dragoons and become one herself. She dreamed of redeeming her heroes to the status they once held.
