Val nodded honestly still eating.

"I'm gonna kill ya for that punch," Xero said to Jakuze. Jakuze snickered.

"Does your rose gold have magic properties as well?" Exile asked Ai.

"Yes. My sword is infused with lightning. I made it for my past... Well, he died to save me..." Ai said as a tear rolled down her cheek. Exile felt concerned for her.

" I'm sorry I didn't know" said Val saddly " so I was wondering dad told me to be carful of Garda once do u know why?" Val asked


Willow only ate.as did the other two

"The guards, the military, were looking for rose gold alchemists, regardless of race. And they were looking for the gold, more or less. The one who saved me died to let me escape," Ai said. Exile took her hand out of concern and held it.

"I'm sorry," he said.

" good it wasn't me " sighted Val then " I'm sorry too" said Val not shore how to contor. Her hair had an odd blond tint in the fire light.

" wow ur hairs blond" said willow surprised by the sudden change.

" that happens with her" said Luna like it was normal as she ate more food

"It was both of us," Ai said, holding Exile's hand back. "The guards wanted to take any rose gold alchemist they could," she said.

"oh well I'm still sorry" said Val she was still very sweet even when she was do eatting. Her hair still had a blond tint.

Willow was still mesmerized by it. Luna was eating as was xyio

"You know, Val, you look like Ai with longer hair when you hair's blonde," Exile said. Ai blushed but could hide it.

"Val's prettier than me," Ai said.

" sorry but not really well I'm going to bed" she was to exile a little more forcefully than she meat too turned her back and walked away willow was confused but Luna only smirked

Exile looked hurt slightly as Val walked off. "Well, I guess it's just us, Ai," Exile said. Ai smiled and led him to the cliff of the rock they slept on.

"So, Exile, do you have anyone you like?" Ai asked, grabbing his hand once again.

"I'm sorry, I'm in love with Val... I've been through a lot with her and I don't want to really be with anyone else... I like you as a friend, though," Exile explained. Ai let go of his hand, but wasn't forceful or mean.

"I understand. I don't mean to impose... I just found you cute and thought... Maybe... But I also find Willow attractive. Sorta like he's a prince," Ai said truthfully. Exile smiled and nodded. "But give me this one night to rest on your shoulder. A taste of what our future could've been like," she said.

"Okay," Exile said. She put her head on his shoulder.

Luna stayed but xyio walked very quietly behind the then said " you might want to tell Val she's wise but not good at showing effect ion. " said xyio her voice soft n wind chi my


Val fell asleep

Ai jumped ten miles in the air and turned to see Xyio. "So you do have a voice," she said, not to be mean.

"She's made it very clear she doesn't like me though," Exile said. "Even Xero can see it," he said.

" my brothers an idiot n can't read Val" said xyio. " n yes I speak I sing usually but I don't really like talking" she finished as she sat down by them

"So are you a colonial too?" Ai asked. Exile laughed at what Xyio said.

" yes monks my mother" said xyio as she opened her white feathered bat wings . " but some how my brother just got nothing but stpid"xyio sieriously

"So then what element are you the goddess of?" Ai asked after laughing.

"Shutting Xero up," Exile said with a laugh.

" trust me doesn't take much to chut up xero but of wind and a bit of darkness I'm not to good at light." she admitted honestly. Then she began to hum softly that seemed to carry across the silent desert like a wind chime clacking in the breeze.

"You have a beautiful voice," Ai said.

"You're one of the few to ever hear it," Exile said. Ai looked surprised.

Xyio smiled "talking is in my brothers liking not ,mine . " said xyio with a smile ." I'll take first watch exile n ai you two can sleep....don't tell Luna you heard me talk." xyio finished and smiled at the as she sat down

"Okay, that works," Ai said as Exile and Ai headed back to the camp. Everyone else was asleep. The laid down and fell asleep too.

Xyio continued to hum softly to herself. Val began to stir in her sleep she ws having a nightmare of her injury. Luna was a sleep peacefully.as was the cat.

everyone slept peacefully through the night undisturbed.

As the sun began to rise Val woke up first. Xyio had fallen asleep early so she had made shore nothing was wrong. Luna was still sleeping contorbly as was willow

Ai woke right after Val as the others slept peacefully.

"Goodmorning, Val," Ai said with a smile.

Val smiled back "morning did you sleep well?" Val was truly happy with no sign of her earlier snape at exile.
Luna began to wake.
